San Francisco Bay Guardian 40th Anniversary - Legendary publisher Bruce Brugman welcomed Betty along with the Good Vibrations (GV) team to the Guardian's party. Betty found out a lot about how GV is received in the community on that occasion! Among party goers were Supervisor Bevan Dufty (plus the babe) and Supervisor Sophie Maxwell. Betty and Good Vibration's Steve Duncan also welcomed SF Building Commissioner Debra Walker, a well-known artist featured in the Betty's List LGBT Community Directory.
Bruce and The Guardian are known for outspoken advocacy for First Amendment rights. Good Vibrations has been a Guardian advertiser for more than two decades and GV was invited to set-up it's popular Wheel of Fortune display with accomanying goodie bags.
