Saturday, July 14th, 2007 annual HRC (Human Rights Campaign) San Francisco Bay Area Gala, Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - "Togetherness" was the official theme, but "Sci Fi" carried the day with Lenord Nimoy on hand to present the HRC Equality Award to his Star Trek colleague, actor and activist George Takei. Lucy Lawless, of Xena and Battlestar Galactica fame, as special featured guest, introduced to the audience by Betty. (Read the Introduction of Lucy Lawless)
