Betty's List / AAA Travel Queen Mary 2 Fall Foliage Cruise - With AAA Travel, we will have a cruise group going on the Queen Mary2, leaving from and returning to New York City (Saturday, September 27th through Saturday, October 4th 2008). Thanks to a new friend in our community for sharing her photos of QM2 dockside in Manhattan on the Hudson River side. The initial ones are afternoon, progressing to evening as the ship heads out toward the harbor, Statue of Liberty, Verazanno-Narrows Bridge and on to the Atlantic Ocean. Some of these are quite artsy . . . almost emulating the look of a fine art Impressionist painting. Lots of fun for the photo editor.
Near the bottom of the collection, a few additional QM2 images from here and there are tossed in just for the fun of it. Thanks go to our friend of longstanding Janis Johnson for the Bay Area vantage point ones. Join our group in the autumn of this year for an adventure aboard the largest and most majestic cruise ship in the world, as QM2 takes us up to Halifax and then down the eastern seaboard at peak of Fall Foliage Tour Season.
